There’s plenty to keep you entertained all year round with a calendar of festivals and events that will appeal to all.

The Music Festival kicks off proceedings in May, with a symphony of music from classical to contemporary. Summer brings the town to life as Stafford Festival treats visitors to free family entertainment in July which includes the popular and colourful Party in the Park event in Victoria Park. A series of Summer events sponsored by the Guildhall Shopping Centre will be held in Stafford’s Market Square, culminating in a Children’s Fun Week from 22 to 26 August.
The year ends with events including a Victorian Market, Santa Parade and Christmas Lights Switch On with a firework extravaganza.

Sandon Hall, Shugborough, Weston Park and Staffordshire County Showground all host large-scale events throughout the year; from pop festivals to parrot shows, classic cars to classical music.
