Mill Meece Pumping Station has supplied water to the communities of Stoke and Newcastle since 1914. The Gentle Giants were replaced by electric pumps in 1979, but these horizontal steam engines have been preserved for your enjoyment. Also come along and enjoy one of many rally events held in the grounds of the station.
Open for static viewing most Sundays 1pm to 5pm.
In Steam event days 11am to 5pm. Adults £4.50, children/senior citizens £3.50, children under 5 years old FREE.
Refreshments in steam, picnic area. Disabled access and toilets. Sorry no dogs allowed in buildings.
